Summary:
Moore, from Tulsa, OK, will join national power house LSU in the spring of 2026. Moore was a highly coveted transfer this off season from the University of Kansas where he saw considerable improvement as a sophomore. His calling card is a devastating change up, which induced a 45% whiff rate in 2025. Maybe more impressive is Moore’s ability to command the strike zone. Over 88.1 innings in 2025, Moore walked only 19 batters.

The righty came to Kansas with an 87-88mph fastball, and leaves running it up to 96mph. His development was evident over his two year span with the Jayhawks. Moore will now work with Nate Yeskie, one of the most highly regarded pitching coaches across the college ranks. The right hander is a workhorse, going 7 plus innings in 4 straight starts last season. He will contend for a spot in the LSU rotation which lost Kade Anderson and Anthony Eyason from their College World Series championship team to the 2025 draft.

He’s been battle tested, facing top competition his sophomore season. A year in the SEC will continue that trend. As a draft eligible sophomore, Moore garnered interest from MLB clubs prior to the 2025 draft. Now at LSU, the spotlight will shine bright. Should the command remain elite, expect Moore to continue the upward trend and hear his name called in July.
