| Summary: Belyeu is a physical outfielder from Auburn Alabama with an above average power/speed combination. He has primarily manned centerfield for the Tigers showcasing solid routes and a very strong arm. For his size, he moves well showing speed on the basepaths with 12 stolen bags in 2025. Belyeu works the pull side with authority. The swing has natural launch which plays to the strength he posses. He has worked to shorten his stroke allowing for more consistent contact and demonstrate the ability to work up the middle and to left field. Belyeu has been known to chase outside of the zone at times. As the hit tool develops and he is able to find barrels more consistently, his status as a prospect will continue to climb. Belyeu has struggled early in 2026, however the raw tools still remain. The upside as a defender and projectible power make him a potential steal on day 2 of the draft. | |||||||||||
