School: Fort Worth Christian (TX)Position(s): SS

Summary:
Emerson, out of Fort Worth Christian (TX) passes just about every test for a top ranked prep player. He was a cornerstone for Team USA during the 2025 World Cup leading them to gold in September of 2025. He continues to hold true to a top five spot in July.

At the plate, he’s known for a mature approach, quick hands and developing power. The moment doesn’t over take him, showing incredible poise and the model of consistency. His senior year at Fort Worth Christian has reflected the plus hit tool with a .549 BA, 7 HR’s and .645 OPB (21 BB’s). The set up has evolved for Emerson now starting in a more open stance in 2026. His rhythm and balance remain, with a simple stroke that gets extension through the zone. He has struck out only two times this spring for the Cardinals. He has the ability to do damage in all quadrants, showing high level pull side power.
Emerson mans the 6 hole currently but projectability may eventually move him to 3B at the next level. He has a strong, accurate arm, polished footwork and displays the same poise in the field he does at the dish. He is an above average runner which should hold true as he continues to mature physically.

Playing for Rusty Greer at Fort Worth Christian, known for his grit, hustle and high effort with the Texas Rangers, Emerson emulates much of his skipper’s former game. The makeup, in addition to the 5 tools he showcases should see him off the board very early come July.
