Summary:
A high three-quarter slot with a high leg lift and solid extension gives Wing a fastball that sits 90-95 and touches 96 with above-average ride and heavy arm-side run — a meaningful step forward from his high school readings that reflects real physical development with projection still remaining in the slender, high-waisted frame. The overall delivery repeats well enough to give the arsenal a consistent platform despite some effort that will need to be managed as the workload builds.

The changeup is the standout secondary and already grades as a consistently plus offering in the pro debut — significant vertical separation off the fastball with massive run that gives it a shape profile well beyond what most arms develop this quickly. A mid-80s slider with a bridging cutter shape and a mid-70s curveball with heavy two-plane drop both serve more as in-zone offerings than true put-away pitches currently, though the delineation between the two has improved from the high school evaluation and both give the arsenal additional shape variety to work with.

Command is fringe-average and the effort in the delivery creates consistency questions that will need to be addressed as the competition level rises. The athletic build and good extension give the mechanics a workable foundation, and the projection remaining in the frame gives the stuff room to keep developing. The back-end starter ceiling is grounded in a changeup that is already ahead of schedule and a fastball that has already made a meaningful jump — continued physical development could push both further.
