| Summary: Lee is a slugging catcher whose calling card is what happens when the bat connects — a righthanded hitter with big raw power and a track record of hard contact that’s already produced a program freshman home run record and an outstanding-prospect award on the summer circuit. The swing is built to pull with authority, generated from a tight coil and leverage through the back side, and when he gets to it, the contact is loud, with some of the loudest contact metrics in his conference to back it up. The approach is genuinely aggressive, and it comes with real swing-and-miss risk — the hip rotation fires early and the weight rarely transfers all the way forward, leaving him vulnerable against premium velocity, especially up in the zone. The hit tool is raw as a result, and there’s real swing-and-miss baked into the profile right now, but there’s also a real path to refinement with more reps and better sequencing; this doesn’t read as a settled, capped tool so much as an aggressive approach still finding its ceiling. Behind the plate, the tools grade out as average across the board — a fringe-average transfer slows him down at times, and throwing accuracy has been described inconsistently across looks, but there’s enough arm strength and enough overall feel for the position that a move off catcher isn’t the likely outcome.
