Kellner is a draft eligible sophomore currently at Texas A&M. He was highly touted out of Hamilton HS in Arizona, a perennial powerhouse. In his first season on campus Kellner showed flashes of a potential 1st round talent.

He is solid defensively, playing the majority of his games in 2026 at shortstop for the Aggies. At the next level, his most likely landing spot is third base, though a corner outfield spot may not be out of the question. His actions are clean and consistent, with solid footwork. He’s capable a making all of the throws with average to slightly above average arm strength.

In the box, Kellnar sets up tall with a slightly open stance. The leg lift is minimal though generates some coil of the lower half. He doesn’t get cheated, with exceptional bat speed and strong hands through the zone, the power potential is real. Despite accumulating only 5 last season, the threat for 20 plus is there. He’s also displayed a discipled approach, especially given being a true freshman in the SEC. His walk rate was just under 20% in 2026.

With 55 games under his belt the expectation is the Kellner takes off this spring. Early mocks see him as likely 1st round pick. With continued steps forward coupled with plus tools and overall versatility, that may be a very likely scenario.
