| Summary: Being the starting shortstop on a National Championship club as a true freshman is nothing to sneeze at, and Curley looks to improve on an impressive season a year ago. The draft eligible sophomore may move off short with Gavin Kilen in town, and that may be for the best as he just doesn’t have the natural quickness of a shortstop. Moving to third gives him above average defensive upside thanks to his quality glove and double plus arm. At the plate there is plenty of swing and miss, but there is also a good feel for the zone as he draws plenty of walks and should carry a quality OBP in the future. There is plenty of pop in the bat to profile at third and could be a middle of the order guy at the Major League level down the line. | |||||||||||
