| Summary: There are a ton of tools to like in Turley, it is just a matter of whether or not he will be able make the most of all of them in game. While his run times are elite, he is not the greatest of base runners, nor is he a fantastic defender so are questions about his ability to play center long term. The arm is a cannon though so he can be a very good right fielder. At the plate the hit tool is the question as he doesn’t recognize spin wonderfully and he is aggressive in the box. That said, the hit tool is big and he really drives the ball thanks to some loft in the swing and some of the best pure bat speed in the class. He generates a good amount of that bat speed thanks to the great torque through the hips, although that is part of what finds him out front on offspeed. | |||||||||||
