| Summary: Many of the top arms in this year’s class are on the older side, and Worley is another who will be 19 on draft day. He attacks hitters and shows no fear on the mound with his heavy fastball with plenty of run and sink that plays well above the 91-92 on the radar gun suggests. He has a true plus slider with spin nearing 3300 RPMs and sharp downward break. He breaks out the change occasionally in the mid-80s that has flashed the potential to be at least an average offering. The arm slot is a little below 3/4 and he tends to work from the extreme 1B side of the mound, so the horizontal sightline can feel a bit flat at times. He has decent command but will certainly need to see it improve a good amount to be a genuine starter at the next level, which he has all the potential to be. | |||||||||||
