| Summary: There is real two way potential here, with some players considering Brumbaugh as the best arm they saw through the showcase circuit, while some teams are adamant he is a future shortstop. On the bump he is up to 96 with good run and has a slider that is already a legit chase pitch. He also mixes in a firm change that does need some fine tuning to be a viable offering. At the plate, the bat speed is what really stands out as it is one of the quickest bats in the class. As a result, when he makes contact, he can really drive the ball, but making contact can be an issue at times. He has good athleticism in the field and that big pitching arm plays in the field as well, meaning he should be just fine at short but will fit the 3B profile with ease if he does lose a step as he matures. | |||||||||||
