| Summary: Adams has calmed his delivery down some from what was once described as “a mix of a bunny rabbit with Barry Zito” but it can still be pretty busy. The fastball has taken some strides in velo as it now sits low 90s and can get up to 96, although it can get a little straight making it too hittable at times. That said, it does play up some as he has a quality cutter in the upper 80s and a low 80s change that falls off the table at the plate. His best pitch is his curve that has a big depth to it in the upper 70s. He will fight against his front foot when landing at times, but he commands his pitches well and certainly has starting pitcher potential. | |||||||||||
