| Summary: An absolute spin monster, Rangel puts up impressive spin rates with all his pitches and has been north of 3,200 on his breaking ball. He generates a ton of arm speed and has an athletic delivery that sees his fastball already touch 95 with plenty of movement. That breaking ball is unhittable at it’s best, but can get slurvy at times and really needs to see improvements in the consistency. He has started working in a change that is showing well with some good depth and tunnels well, giving him a solid third option to go with the other two plus potential offerings. He will be 19 on draft day in 2026, meaning he will be a draft-eligible sophomore if he makes it to campus, but the upside is tremendous here. | |||||||||||
