| Summary: Elon always seems to have at least one really quality arm, and Mitrovich has been that guy ever since he stepped on campus. He had a K/BB ratio greater than 3 in his first two seasons, and that strikeout rate was up over 10 per 9 as well, despite not having the best numbers in terms of ERA. Numbers aside, the stuff is real as he sits in the low-90s but has been up to 96. He has a pair of solid secondary offerings, with his change the one that has the most consistency. It sits in the low-80s with some late dip and fade. The slider is of the gyro variety, also in the low-80s. He can spot all three pitches well and really attacks hitters. Unless he sees an uptick in velo and/or more sharpness on the slider, his future value is that of a number five starter, although there is some mid-rotation upside here. | |||||||||||
