| Summary: Still somewhat raw and a guy who saw limited time on the showcase circuit given he also played QB for his high school, the arm talent here is real. He is a quick mover with tremendous arm speed, the velo upside is some of the best in the class. Currently 93-96, the fastball has some tail and carries well when located up in the zone. As is to be somewhat expected given he throws a football as his two sport commitment, he struggles for feel of spin and command currently. He has the makings of a solid curve that he can snap off well with some two-plane depth, and he mixes in a change at times. As he focuses on baseball full time, expect the secondary stuff to improve, but the fastball is the carrying tool and he has high leverage reliever potential, with some projectability of developing into a starter in time. | |||||||||||
