| Summary: My 121st ranked prospect in the 2022 MLB Draft out of Basic HS in Nevada, Neville was selected in the 18th round by the Cincinnati Reds, but ultimately did not sign and made it to campus at Arkansas. He played sparingly in Fayetteville before transferring to Oregon in 2024 where he saw time at all three outfield positions and settling in as the everyday center fielder this year. He has range to run the ball down into either gap and an above-average arm to make him a threat to throw out runners too. He has long had swing-and-miss concerns, but it has been improving and has taken more steps forward in that category this year. He sets up in a crouched stance with his hands ear high and some bat wrap, but he uses that to help generate some real bat speed and possesses plus power. Ultimately, he has not massively improved his rankings in college, but there is still a good shot he hears his name called on day one of the draft, which really wasn’t in the cards for him in 2022. | |||||||||||
