| Summary: Despite possessing a rather large frame for a catcher, Dallimore moves well behind the dish and there are scouts who have called him a no doubt catcher defensively. A team will need to believe in that to draft him high enough to keep him from TCU where he would be a draft eligible sophomore in 2027 if he makes it to campus. That said, if he can stick at catcher, and the above-average arm will help, he has a very intriguing offensive profile for the position. There is a ton of bat speed here and has one of the better hit tools in the class along with some real pop. The raw power flirts with plus, but he has a long way to get there in game. A catcher with a legit hit tool and a path to plus power is certainly a profile that a lot of teams will like. | |||||||||||
