| Summary: A power arm, Clemente has been up to 97 with his fastball out of the bullpen, but attempts to see him succeed as a starter saw him settle more in the 90-93 range. There were high hopes he could be a reliable arm in the weekend rotation for the Gators after a successful stint on the Cape, but ultimately only made five starts in 2025 and found himself back in the bullpen. A bullpen arm is really what I expect from him where the fastball can play up thanks to the boost in velo and the fact it has a ton of carry. He uses the fastball about 70% of the time, but he does have the makings of a wipeout slider with real two plane break, it is just inconsistent. He occasionally mixes in a split change, although it is a distant third offering and likely will be scrapped once the idea of him working out as a starter is no longer being considered. | |||||||||||
