| Summary: With a big frame and a big fastball, Holloway is not your typical prep lefty. He works primarily from the stretch with a very closed setup that helps create plenty of cross body action as he fires from a 3/4 slot. Unlike many crossfire looks, there really isn’t a ton of effort in the delivery and he repeats well, although he is more control than command at the moment. The fastball really pops, already touching 95 to go with a pair of promising secondary offerings. The slider has been up to 87 with big sweep and the change is into the mid 80s with solid dip and fade. The upside here is massive and could really climb boards over the next twelve months. | |||||||||||
