| Summary: After time at LSU, Kling transferred to Penn State and became the player the Tigers thought they were getting out of high school. He has plus speed and an above average arm which should allow him to stick in center and be a solid defender there long term. The hit tool has been the Achilles heel for him, as he will swing-and-miss too often, although he doesn’t really expand the zone much. His best tool just might be the raw power, but those hit concerns have limited his ability to get to it consistently. He will definitely have plenty of work to do once he moves to the professional ranks, but a player who can play all three outfield spots and put the ball over the wall is something plenty of teams will be happy to pull the trigger on this July. | |||||||||||
