| Summary: The Canadian prepster is all about the power. He has a plus arm and plus raw power and has seen pro pitching while with the Canadian U18 team. The swing has good loft and he pulls the ball well, where the power really plays especially against velocity where he has had success against before mentioned pros and top level college talent. Like many power hitting high schoolers, Piasentin can struggle to pick up spin and will swing over and chase on secondary offerings too much. The defensive actions at third are not the smoothest, but he can make all the routine plays and the arm plays really well. If he does move off third, I could see a team putting him out in right rather than relegating him to first, but I see some potential for him to develop into an average defender at the hot corner. | |||||||||||
