| Summary: Young, athletic, tools to dream on, that is what you are getting with Washington. The front foot is off the ground for a while, but always close to the ground and he keeps his balance well. The weight shifts through his hips well as he fires and generates real bat speed. There is some bat wrap and elbow business in the load, but he is on time more often than not. I see a gap to gap hitter long term where he will let his athleticism play. That said, he really generated a good amount of game power this year and there is plenty of strength in the frame. He has plus speed and polish in center where he can be a plus defender. | |||||||||||
