| Summary: Foutch has a case to be made as the man possessing the biggest fastball to come out of the state of Colorado. He averaged 98 mph with the heater this season and regularly hit triple digits, topping out at 101. The problem is the fastball lacks much in terms of shape and life and can get hit harder than your typical heater of that velo. His best pitch might be his upper 80s tumbling splitter he tunnels well. He has flashes a low 90s cutting slider that has flashed plus, but is so inconsistent he did not use it in many games in 2025. The tall and fall delivery with stiffness purely out of the stretch from the higher 3/4 slot is not one that will be used in a rotation, as he is a pure reliever prospect. That said, the stuff is massive and all three pitches have plus upside, even if the likelihood of him realizing that potential on the pitches is not great. Overall, this is a potential high leverage bullpen arm that could be called late in day one or early in day two. | |||||||||||
