| Summary: Meccage knows the Milwaukee Brewers will have plenty of interest in him on draft day as they selected his cousin Bryce Meccage in the second round in 2024 and their Triple-A pitching coach is Justin Meccage, Kyler’s dad. Kyler has a loose and easy arm that is already up to 92, while sitting 87-88. He also has a low 70s curve and a change as well, and he is truly a two way prospect, but his future is most likely at the plate. He is a well balanced hitter who has no problem using the whole field and has a buttery smooth stroke. The power is definitely projection only currently, but there is a shot he develops into average if not a tick better in that department. Defensively he has a shot to stick in center, but if he does lose a step or two due to filling out, the plus arm will be just fine in right. | |||||||||||
