| Summary: Morse has incredibly long limbs that he understandably struggles to control at times, leading to some real command issues, especially in to right handers and up out of the zone, but the potential here is massive. He has a pretty low effort delivery that he can repeat well at times, just needs to do so more consistently. The arm is a high 3/4 slot, but still gets plenty of tail on his pitches. The fastball works up to 92 with some run on a heavy downhill plane. He has a solid curve that has a good combination of sharpness and depth that I could see morphing into a more traditional two plane slider as he adds more power to the arm. The pitch with the highest upside is a change sitting most often around 83-84 with a ton of fade, some good tumble, and has all the makings of future plus pitch. When he is feeling the offering he uses it with incredible confidence and serves as a real out pitch. | |||||||||||
