| Summary: LaPour started his career at Wichita State and was a member of their rotation the moment he reached campus. After a solid 2024 season, he transferred to TCU and was the best arm in their rotation in 2025. His fastball works 95-98 but has hit triple digits and has good carry thanks to a higher 3/4 arm slot. He has a mid 80s slider with plenty of depth and a quality changeup that sits 88-90 with plenty of dip and fade to it. The changeup is a pitch he is not afraid to use in any count or double up on it, and rightfully so as it gets plenty of bad swings. There is a heavy upper half in his delivery which leads to a good amount of effort, but it is a strong frame and he projects as a starter long term. | |||||||||||
