| Summary: A high level athlete with plus speed, Roberson has every chance to be a quality defender in center especially as he takes good routes to the baseball. He isn’t just athletic and heady out there though, the arm borders on plus and would be more than enough to play right if he ever needs to move to a corner. At the dish it is all about approach here. He doesn’t expand the zone and does an excellent job staying inside the baseball, allowing him to shoot the ball into the gaps and down either line. There isn’t a ton of pop in his game yet, and below average may be the best he develops into, but the approach combined with the speed and the ability to play center give you an up the middle defender who could fit a typical leadoff role for your club. | |||||||||||
