| Summary: Gibler earned himself a prominent role in the Arkansas bullpen that saw him throwing high leverage innings in the College World Series. The strikeout numbers were insane, averaging nearly two strikeouts per inning as 57 of the 88 outs he recorded in 2025 came via the K, while he only walked 12, giving him a 4.75 K/BB ratio. He works from the third base side of the rubber and fires from a good 3/4 slot out of a slightly closed setup and effort in the finish. The fastball isn’t massive as it sits in the low 90s, but it pairs well with a filthy two plane slider in the mid 80s that projects easily as a plus pitch as it got nearly 60% whiff rate. He does have a slider, although he did not use it much out of the bullpen. Expect him to compete for a spot in the Razorbacks rotation in 2026, and a key to him making that happen will be the further development of that change. He is more control over command, so that is also something to monitor through the fall to see what role he creates for himself in the upcoming season. | |||||||||||
