| Summary: With an upright stance, Harwood syncs his hips and hands well and clears them well on pitches on the inner half, but he does use the whole field well. That sync in his body and the fire through the hips helps allow him to create power with relative ease, but it will likely always be very much power over hit. In the field he projects best to right field as he has plenty of arm for the position and moves reasonably well in the grass. The frame is already pretty mature so there doesn’t project to be a whole lot of loss in foot speed, but there also isn’t a ton of power projection left. That is ok though as the bat already has 20+ home run raw power in it, and even minor additions to his strength could get him in the 25-30 projection range. There aren’t big concerns with the hit tool, but would like to see that take a step forward over the next twelve months or so making it a higher likelihood he is able to fully tap into that power potential as the bat will be his calling card. | |||||||||||
