| Summary: Harris brings a clean, composed delivery from a higher slot with the kind of fastball traits that draw early-round attention. He works primarily 92–94, touching 95–96, and shows the ability to command it to all quadrants. While the pitch can be hit when it catches too much plate, the life and carry give it swing-and-miss potential at the top of the zone. His athleticism and strike-throwing ability give the fastball a reliable foundation to build from. The slider leads the mix, flashing plus in the mid-80s with spin rates north of 2,800 rpm. It’s a tight, short breaker that can finish hitters when consistent, though its shape will vary at times. He supplements with a firm changeup in the mid-80s that flashes tumble and a curveball in the low-to-mid 70s with 11–5 shape. All four pitches can be landed for strikes, and he shows a willingness to use them in any count. With a three-pitch foundation already in place and a fourth showing enough to matter, Harris projects as a starting pitcher at the next level. The delivery, command, and mix all point to rotation traits, and if the slider tightens into a consistent out pitch, he fits squarely as an early Day 1 arm. | |||||||||||
