Summary:
Following his manager from Duke to Virginia, Gracia owns one of the smoother lefthanded swings in the class, combining rhythm, bat speed, and advanced strike-zone control. At his best, he produces all-fields contact with natural lift, carrying both hit and power potential. There’s some length and uniqueness to the operation—his barrel can stay underneath the ball when the hands start low—but adjustments to his stance and hand set late last spring unlocked more consistency after a really slow start to 2025. When he’s on time, the swing produces impact with the look of a polished middle-of-the-order bat.

The approach is mature, with limited chase and a knack for working counts, though at times he can slip into passivity and miss chances to attack hittable pitches early. His exit velocities dipped in 2025, but the raw power is still there and he posseses on-base skills to match. He’s shown pull-side authority yet remains comfortable using the whole field, projecting as one of the steadier offensive profiles in the class if he maintains aggression.

Defensively, Gracia has logged time in center field and handles the position capably, but his average speed and arm strength fit more naturally in a corner. The instincts are steady, and he’s shown flashes of arm strength, but the bat is the clear carrying tool. With polish, power, and approach all present, Gracia projects as a run-producing corner outfielder with the offensive ceiling to anchor the heart of a lineup.
