| Summary: Few southpaws in the class bring the same combination of stuff and polish as Carson Bolemon. His fastball works comfortably 92–95 and has reached 97, attacking hitters from a higher three-quarter slot with both ride and run. The pitch jumps late and carries through the zone, giving him a swing-and-miss foundation that he leans on heavily. Compact in his arm stroke and deliberate in his delivery, he pounds the zone with intent and works with the mound presence of a seasoned starter. The breaking ball pair stands out as some of the best in the class. He features a curveball in the upper 70s to low 80s with sharp 11–5 depth and a harder slider in the low-to-mid 80s that bites late. Both flash plus and he’s shown the ability to sequence them together, often toggling shape within the same outing. A changeup in the mid-to-upper 80s rounds out the arsenal, showing arm-side fade and above-average potential when he maintains arm speed. At East Coast Pro, he blended the two breaking balls effectively and overpowered lineups with six strikeouts in three innings. With advanced pitchability, four distinct offerings, and a bulldog presence on the mound, Bolemon profiles as a frontline starter in this class. The combination of present velocity, two breaking balls with plus projection, and feel to compete at a high level already give him a polished starter’s look, with more strength and refinement still to come. | |||||||||||
