| Summary: Drafted by the Reds in 2023 but choosing to go to school instead, Gaeckle brings one of the most explosive four-pitch mixes in the class, built around a mid- to upper-90s fastball that has reached 99 and carries late life from a compact, high-effort delivery. His slider is a true weapon in the mid-80s to 90 mph range, flashing plus with tight sweep and late two-plane depth. He complements it with a hammer curveball in the upper-70s to low-80s that shows elite spin and sharp vertical action, giving him two distinct bat-missing breakers. The changeup has ticked up into the upper-80s with late dip, giving him a usable fourth pitch that neutralizes lefties when he stays on top of it.
