2026 MLB Draft: Cameron Flukey, RHP, Coastal Carolina

Player: Cameron Flukey
School: Coastal Carolina Position(s): RHP
Height: 6’6″Weight: 210 lbs. Bats: RightThrows: Right
Summary:
Coming off a magically run in Omaha the expectations for Flukey and the Chants remain high for the 2026 season. The fastball we know sits in the 95-98mph range. Many regard it as the top fastball in the 2026 draft class with IVB sitting a around 20″ consistently. His primary secondary pitch, the curveball, has been a work in progress this off season. Though it induced a 46% whiff rate in 2025, some have made note of the “slower” breaking ball. This fall Flukey has added a bit of velo to the pitch and it is now seeing more depth with it as well.

Though the pre-season accolades continue to roll in, there is still plenty of room for the righty to grow. 2025 saw a considerable improvement in command for Flukey. As he continues to refine pitch shapes and further hone in his arsenal, the ceiling will continue to climb.

At 6′”6, 210 lbs., expect additional strength and physicality to come. Flukey, still just 20 years old, should continue to mature physically. He has the stuff and the makeup to be a consistent 100mph arm. Time will tell. An almost sure fire 1st round pick in 2026, the spring will determine just how high he may rise.
