Summary:
The power and arm are impossible to ignore. An extremely quick left-handed stroke generates elite exit velocities with the ability to drive balls to any part of the ballpark, and a double-plus arm that has already drawn respect from big leaguers gives him a defensive weapon that plays across the outfield. The speed and athleticism allow him to handle center field and be a genuine asset in the corners, and the outfield assist totals reflect how much the arm matters in the evaluation.

The contact profile is what keeps the ceiling capped. Below-average in-zone contact even against fastballs, extreme whiff rates, a heavy platoon split that leaves almost no track record against left-handed pitching, and struggles against every secondary offering create a profile with very little middle ground — when he connects the damage is real, when he doesn’t the at-bat is largely uncompetitive. The passive approach against right-handed pitching compounds the issue — too many strikes taken before the swing-and-miss kicks in.

The fourth outfielder role is where the profile realistically lands, and it’s a valuable one. The power, arm and defensive versatility give him a legitimate big league path in that capacity, and the platoon production against right-handed pitching gives the bat enough pop to make roster decisions easy when he’s deployed correctly.
