2026 MLB Draft: Ty Burnham, RHP/OF, Rogers

Player: Ty Burnham
School: Rogers (AR)Position(s): RHP
Height: 6’3″Weight: 200 lbs. Bats: LeftThrows: Right
Summary:
Burnham is a projectable RHP/OF from Lowell, AR committed to the University of Arkansas. Burnham has flashed two way potential at the prep level with a powerful left handed stroke and was ranked the Number. 1 outfield prospect in the state of Arkansas.

At the plate Burnham has a smooth, uphill swing triggered by a slight stride with hands staying quiet. The pull side power is real, with potential for more as he physically matures. Though Burnham has seen success at the plate, his future is more than likely on the mound. He’s run it up to 98 mph, sitting comfortably 92-95 mph. The fastball has carry, with consistent swing and miss potential. His main secondary is a curveball (slurve) that shows good depth with varying shapes at times. He does mix in a splitter as well as a cutter, both works in progress. Burnham has a longer arm path, working from a higher three quarter slot.

The arm stays loose while tunnelling off speed offerings. Should he continue to develop his arsenal, Burnham could show starter potential. Time will tell whether he has the opportunity to further develop as a position player, however the upside on the mound will keep scouts intrigued during this year’s draft.
