A whippy arm action and extension that approaches the high end of the scale make the velocity play up considerably to a hitter’s eyes, and the fastball has already touched the mid-90s while sitting low-90s in regular starts — the frame still carries meaningful weight to add, and the arm speed gives every reason to believe the velocity continues climbing as the body matures. The slider is the secondary with the most long-term upside, showing tight rotation and sharp lateral break at its best.
