| Summary: No prepster had a better summer than Fien. He hit at every stop and showed real above average power already at play. There is a natural loft in his swing, although he does manage to stay on top of the ball well with hands that clear the zone well and generate plenty of bat speed. He played first base for Team USA, but his best current position is third base where his plus arm plays well. There are some questions about his first step quickness, and size projection in the future, but there is enough athleticism that he could probably do well in right. I am not as high on Fien as some as there isn’t the track record of hitting and there are more positional questions than I like to see high in the draft, but a good Spring could make me much more bullish on him. | |||||||||||
