| Summary: Sell is going to be a fascinating follow as we get closer to the draft. He has a very strong commitment to Stanford that could make him a difficult sign, but the pure stuff could lead to his name being in consideration high enough to turn him pro rather than heading to school. I am not as high as some on the pure hit tool, but still have it plus. He has a quick and direct bat path, recognizes pitches well, attacks fastballs, and chokes up to fight off breaking stuff with two strikes. I really don’t see him ever tapping in to much power despite the fact he has started putting the ball in the air more frequently, I just don’t see home runs ever being part of his game. He has seen some time in the infield, where he would be limited to second due to the fact the arm isn’t great, but he can be special in the outfield. A true plus runner and impressive instincts in the outfield, he will patrol center with a ton of range and solid jumps. | |||||||||||
