| Summary: A shortstop in high school, Grahovac saw most of his time at the hot corner his freshman year, where some feel he can stick, while others expect him to move to right. The arm plays at either spot, but his glove just isn’t as soft as you want from a third baseman and I really believe he finds himself in the outfield. He has shows solid routes and reads in the grass where I believe he can be at least an average defender if not a little better. His carrying tool is the bat where he regularly makes hard contact and drives the ball to all fields. He has a wide base with a minimal stride that allows him to get the bat into the zone quickly but doesn’t cost him in the power department. His hips clear well and the bat has good natural loft that has allowed him to already put up quality power numbers as the leadoff hitter on a team that made it to the College World Series final. | |||||||||||
