| Summary: After starting his high school career in Colorado, he moved to Arizona and now plays for powerhouse Hamilton in Chandler. He has an arm bordering on plus which will be important as his future is likely at third base rather than short. At the hot corner he has a really good glove stays low on sharp grounders pointing to potential above average play at the position in the future. At the plate there is little swing-and-miss concern as he has a simple upright, slightly open stance with relaxed hands. When he gets to two strikes he widens the base and eliminates his stride making him one of the more difficult prep bats to strike out. While he is currently more of a contact over power approach, he flashes real raw power in BP, especially to the pull side, so there is some potential he turns that into game power as he matures. | |||||||||||
