| Summary: The Southisene’s are redefining what it means to be a baseball family out of Nevada. Ty was selected by the Cubs in the fourth round a season ago, Tee is a freshman on the USC baseball team, Tate could go higher than Ty did, and Troy is a draft prospect for the 2026 class. While all are on the smaller side, Tate does have a more “traditional” body at nearly 6’ tall and has the most power of the group. There are a ton of moving parts in the swing with a foot that is off the ground, although there is good balance and timing despite it. The hand positioning is unique and has a lot of Eric Davis comps purely based on positioning. The ball jumps off the bat, with 107 exits not uncommon, and can already drive balls out of a big league ballpark. The arm is plus and the defense will be just fine at either short or center. | |||||||||||
