| Summary: Franco’s draft prospects likely rely quite a bit on how much strength he adds to his game over the winter and the biggest concern is the lack of current power. His bat speed is average and he is still incredibly lean, so he is more of a singles and doubles hitter than over the wall power at the moment. There is still plenty of projection in the frame, but it is one that may benefit from making it to campus where he could solidify himself as a first rounder come the 2028 draft. In the field, his below average speed and the projection in the frame do suggest a future move to third base where the arm will play well. Currently though, he does have good actions with soft hands and solid feet despite a tick slow on his transitions around the bag will allow for him to play short at least early in his pro/college career. | |||||||||||
