| Summary: Setting up on the far third base side of the rubber and getting a big leg kick with plenty of drive and extension from a 3/4 slot out of a 6’5” frame is already a tough delivery for hitters to barrel up. Then, add the fact the fastball has been up to 98 with a solid downhill plane and some late run and you have one of the best fastballs in the class. He has a slurvy breaking ball with a vertical break that has shown mild depth at times. It sits in the upper 70s but may benefit from snapping it off sharper and turning it into a sharper slider that would pair well with his fastball. His change is a pitch that he doesn’t use too much currently but I have seen it anywhere from 82-87 and flashing solid dip and fade. He does repeat his delivery well and can pound the zone, making him one of the top prep arms in the class. | |||||||||||
