| Summary: Ranked 182 for me a season ago as about as young a draft eligible sophomore as one can be, he went undrafted, but that is not an indictment on the prospect. He has as loud an individual tool as anyone in the class with his raw power. He hit 12 home runs his freshman year, then 21 a season ago, although his extra base hit numbers actually dropped by one as most of his freshman year doubles turned into home runs last year. There are plenty of concerns in the contact rate though as he has struck out more than a quarter of his trips to the plate, while he has walked under 10% of the time. Defensively, he has enough arm to play in right, although it is inconsistent in accuracy in game, which also showed as an issue when he got limited time at third base. While he does have a solid right field profile, the range and routes do leave some questions and there is a chance he finds himself at first. | |||||||||||
