| Summary: Norman is an off the bus first guy. He is an imposing physical presence and that translates to the diamond too. He has a strong lower half and gets into a deep stance at the plate, but he doesn’t sell out for power, because he doesn’t need to. There is plenty of bat speed and puts up exit velos nearing 110 seemingly without trying as the strength is easy for him. The hit tool is solid but the power is real. He is pretty athletic for his size and has good quickness that could very well allow him to stick at third where he has plenty of arm for the position. I have seen him play the outfield on the showcase circuit some, and he seems like a natural there taking solid routes and covering a lot of ground out there. If he does move off third, he could end up in right where he actually has above average defensive upside. | |||||||||||
