| Summary: A two way prospect with a fastball up to 96 with real sink to it along with a solid curve and a promising change. I like the curve’s depth that can vary between a 12-6 hammer and 1-7 breaker, but it has real potential. That change is a distant third pitch that needs some real improvement and consistency out of his 3/4 to higher arm slot to be a starter profile. If he doesn’t stick on the mound, he will be just fine. He has a plus arm with good instincts and actions at the position. His hands are soft and moves around the bag really well on double plays. There is some concern he may outgrow short, although the athleticism will likely keep him there, but the arm is more than enough for third and he has shown promise in the outfield too. At the plate he has good bat speed and quality gap power, which should turn into solid home run numbers as he matures. | |||||||||||
