| Summary: Hamilton has a fastball that is already up to 95 and has a ton of projection left. He has long levers in the delivery, with the arm really whippy through the finish but taking a long path before it gets to his release point, there is some herky jerky actions that can impact the consistency in release point. Because he does bring the arm back slow before really quick up, the fastball gets on hitters even faster than the velo suggests and helps the fastball play up quite a bit. His best secondary offering is a low 80s sweeping slider, but he also has an upper 70s 11-5 curve with some depth that may have more upside. The change has flashed well but is well behind the others. One thing that can’t be argued is his competitiveness on the mound, as you can tell he wants the ball and wants to attack the best hitters. | |||||||||||
