| Summary: Son of 10 year NFL vet Corey Fuller, Chase clearly inherited plenty of athleticism from his father. The athleticism and aggressiveness plays on the bases where he went first to third on a wild pitch in the PG All Star Game last summer. The wheels overall are above-average and may regress to average in time as he develops, although the frame is already pretty mature, and the defensive profile still has some minor questions. Currently a shortstop, he has good actions and an absolute cannon of an arm, but there is some risk of him moving over to third in time. At the plate there are certainly some hit tool concerns that need to be ironed out, but the power profile is huge and the raw power is among the best in the prep class of 2027. His slightly closed stance at the plate really allows him to fire his hips in the swing and the raw power already plays in game. If not for his immense upside at the plate, Fuller would be a genuine draft prospect on the mound where he has a solid three pitch mix that includes a fastball that will pop 94 already. | |||||||||||
