| Summary: There once was some question about whether or not Arquette could stick at short, those questions have largely been put to bed. He does not have the short range quickness of a prototypical shortstop, but he has good hands and quality instincts meaning he can make all the plays even if he will never be a standout defender there. The power is real here and it is playing to all sides without having to sell out for it and there is true plus power potential here. He is patient at the plate, bordering on passive, but it goes to prove a very good eye at the plate. With the proof he can stick at short, the power showing plus, and the hit tool improving with fewer swing and miss concerns, Arquette is another on the seemingly long list of players it would not be shocking to hear go 1-1 in July. | |||||||||||
