| Summary: Curiel pulled his name out of consideration heading into the 2024 MLB Draft, where he has an outside shot at being a day one guy. He has been a guy who has been in front of scouts for a long long time as he attended powerhouse Orange Lutheran and was a regular on the showcase circuit and Team USA. He has a fluid swing with an advanced approach at the plate, which has translated to the SEC where he has hit .341 through his first 61 college games. He has good wheels and a solid arm which plays on the bases and outfield where, combined with his quality routes, he could be an above-average defensive center fielder. There is a high floor given the hit tool, although there isn’t much power to speak of which may be one of the few reasons he doesn’t get a ton of consideration to go 1-1 in 2026. | |||||||||||
